Rene Marie Russo, an American actress and filmmaker who was once a supermodel is also a director of films. Apart from her beautiful elegance, her continued successes in the film industry proves her skills as a performer. In the late 1970s when she started her modeling career, and soon became one of the leading figures in this industry. In the early 1990s, she began studying the theatre and acting. Then after that, in Los Angeles and California she began to make her stage debuts. Russo made her debut on the screen in ABCs Sable drama series in 1987, playing Eden Kendell. In her debut film Major League two years after, she played Tom Berengers romantic interest. She was initially doubtful about her acting abilities but the critics became confident after her steady work. Her most adored performance by critics was in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak where she held her ground against Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. Her admission to acting hasn't been her thing. In 2005 she decided to take a long, self-imposed break. In the film Thor the actress returned to acting. The Oscar-winning film of her husband Nightcrawler was one of her roles. The Intern was her first light-hearted comedy. She went on to be a part of Just Getting Started and other comedies.

Rose Namajunas is one of the most successful female athletes within the UFC. Her journey began as an amateur, fighting in various regional events. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her in and then she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. Since joining the UFC the fighter has quickly become a household name due to her success inside and outside of the octagon. Namajunas's family are Lithuanian and she was born on the 29th of June in 1992. Growing up, Rose was involved in athletics like basketball as well as kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships made the opportunity to make her debut as a professional at age 18, when she defeated two opponents. Dana White took notice of the fact that she had won, and was accepted into the strawweight division of UFC in the month of December, 2014 when Rose was just 22 years old. The winner was given the Women's Strawweight Championship and was also named the"Fighter of the Night. It was the very first time a woman wrestled in a major event to win a championship.
